clarification-EVD training this week
In order to complete and receive credit for the EVD course being taught at Roanoke Wildwood VFD, you must attend all 3 sessions. Thursday & Friday evening are primarily classroom and Saturday is hands on.

Driver Training Opportunity
There is a Emergency Vehicle Driver (EVD) training course being offered at Roanoke Wildwood VFD on January 19, 20 (6 to 10PM) and January 21st (8AM to 1PM). This is excellent training for driver operators. Please take advantage of this if it fits your schedule.

Training Hours - 2016
Training Hours for 2016 as of January 3,2017 are now posted. To remain active firefighters must have 36 hours/year or 3 hours/month for members that joined in 2016. First Responders must have 18 hours of EMS continuing education/year.

120 NOW IN SERVICE
We have transferred all first responder gear from 127 to 120. 120 is now in service for medical/trauma first responder calls.

Truck 129 out of service
I have removed the fuel sender unit and it has a hole in the float so I will get a replacement next week. Until then it will be out of service.
